Abstract
We will provide an overview of algorithmic results for geometric shape matching for discrete geometric shapes, including point clouds, sets of line segments, and more structured objects such as curves and geometric graphs. The survey will cover distance computation and shape matching under transformations such as translations and rigid motions, including exact, approximate, and heuristic approaches. We will also discuss more recent work on distances between geometric graphs
