Recorded 10 February 2026. Barry Barish of the California Institute of Technology presents "LIGO: 10 Years of New Science" at IPAM's AI for Science Kickoff. Abstract: It has been 10 years since gravitational waves were discovered in the Laser Interferometer Gravitational-wave Observatory (LIGO). In this talk, I will review the discovery and discuss the progress and new science that has emerged over the past decade.
