In this talk, I will show three project examples of using math-based models to represent the rules of traditional crafts. We will examine how we can use these models to and illustrate the different crafts and impose shape and pattern changes to cerate new patterns, shapes, and objects. We will consider Coded Overshot Weaving, Parametric Knitting, and Algorithmic Bobbin Lace.
