This talk sketches how data and mathematics have historically intersected, examines the current landscape, and considers how things might evolve—especially in the era of computer-assisted mathematics. A truly comprehensive picture of mathematical data may be out of reach, but the goal here is to raise questions and offer perspectives that can spark further discussion.
